Learn more about student voice

VicSRC has created a short online course to help school-aged students understand how to use their voice at school to make change.

A group of seven students are sitting around a wooden desk. They are talking animatedly and on the desk is a piece of butchers paper and lots of pens and markers.

The Student Executive Advisory Committee (the Executive Committee) is made up of 15 secondary school students from across Victoria. The Executive Committee play a key role in the governance of VicSRC by ensuring VicSRC is always student-led. They advise the organisation on strategic direction, implement advocacy priorities and represent Victorian students to other stakeholders in education. The nomination and election process for the Executive Committee is held in July-August each year.

Students participating at Congress with the Minister for Education
Participate in VicSRC Congress

Congress is VicSRC's flagship student-led experience. Students from across Victoria come together to plan action that will help solve the top issues in the education system, as voted by students. These action priorities become VicSRC's advocacy platform for the next 12 months, spearheaded by our Executive Committee.
